Rosenthal GmbH accredited for its certified environmental management system
A few days ago, the effectiveness of the environmental management system at Rosenthal GmbH (located in Selb and Speichersdorf) was officially certified. The company is thereby making a key contribution to ecological sustainability and environmental protection. The certificate under standard ISO 14001:2015 was presented to the porcelain manufacturer by Certiquality after a preparation period of one year and a one-week certification audit at the end of January / beginning of February 2017.
Some 20 years ago, Rosenthal began certifying its quality management systems under ISO 9001. Since last year, the quality management system has been certified under the amended ISO 9001:2015.Three years ago, the company also received the certificate for its energy management system certified under ISO 50001:2001, which continually improves energy efficiency. Both certifications are audited regularly by TÜV Süd. The annual audits check whether the management systems meet the applicable standards and whether the company puts the systems into practice. A few weeks ago, Rosenthal GmbH was also named one of the top companies with a strong commitment to sustainability (from a consumer standpoint) in a joint study by Focus magazine and Service Value, an analytical and consulting organisation in Cologne.
