Unlike other mast mounts, the SM-18-R offers flexible raydome positioning thanks to unique mounting slots. This unrivalled feature allows the raydome to be optimally fitted close to the mast thus avoiding undue stresses on the mast, bracket and fixings.

The SM-18-R is made from marine grade Aluminium and chemically treated for extra durability, before being primed and powder coated white. It features heavy duty feet which each use six rivets to secure the radar to the mast, enabling an extremely reliable and robust fit. The solid underbody of the mast mount provides a stable platform for the radar and allows any cables to be neatly hidden from view. The underbody comes pre-drilled enabling other accessories such as deck lights or horns to be fitted.
