Semantix recruits Tendering Manager in Finland

Press Release   •   Aug 11, 2015 07:00 BST

Public procurements are growing in both number and complexity. In order to strengthen our position further in the public sector interpreting and translation market, Semantix has recruited a Tendering Manager in Finland. Mia Hirvi assumed her new position in Helsinki on 3 August.

“The choice of candidate was obvious, given Mia’s knowledge of the company and her driven, analytical nature,” explains Maria Krantz, Head of Semantix’s Legal and Tendering Department. “She is absolutely the right person to take on the role of Tendering Manager in Finland.”

Mia has previously worked in Semantix’s interpreting business, and will now be part of Semantix’s Tendering Department at group level. Four people currently work full-time with public sector tendering within the Semantix Group.

“I’m excited to be working at Semantix’s Tendering Department, and to have the opportunity to broaden my experience within the language industry,” says Mia.

During the last four years, Semantix has experienced strong growth within the public sector and now wins around 50 percent of all procurements in which the company takes part.
