Semantix has acquired the leading Danish translation agency, TextMinded, which employs some 80 employees in Denmark, Sweden, and several other countries. The deal cements Semantix position as one of Europe’s largest businesses in the language industry.
After the acquisition, Semantix will employ approximately 450 persons and operate with a turnover of some EUR 100 million. Semantix is majority owned by the private equity fund Segulah V L.P.

TextMinded has been sold by its six owners comprising the Executive Management team of Britta Aagaard and Robert Etches, and four other key employees at the company, all of whom will be staying on as part of the new organisation. Britta Aagaard will have responsibility for Semantix Denmark and the current subsidiaries of TextMinded, and Robert Etches will become Head of Innovation at Semantix.
