Bloggers at #SIME12: Introducing Pernilla Åström +1

Blog posts   •   Nov 09, 2012 08:32 GMT

Posted by jennifer in Blog SIME Stockholm 12 | Nov 8, 2012 @ 9:03

If you haven’t met Pernilla Åström, now’s the time. She’ll be another another blogger to follow at SIME Stockholm, and here are some of her thoughts pre conference .

Pernilla, hi! What’s is it you do and what are you passionate about?

– I am a digital PR strategist and run a consultancy firm, Comsicom. We help companies create and maintain genuine and lasting relations and profitability through digital PR, with focus on implementing social media in the business processes. We also offer community management and optimizing social media newsrooms and digital content. Building lasting relations is my passion, using the tools available.

What comes to mind when you think of  ’the future is back on track’, the topic that’ll be running hot at Cirkus next week?
– The way of conducting business and marketing has profoundly changed very rapidly. I think we have reached a level where the chaos has somewhat landed, or rather, we have reached a state of acceptance where we have gotten used to chaos and not being able to control things the way we could before.

What are you looking forward to the most at SIME, in terms of sessions or speakers?
– Everything connected to my core topics – how to utilize technology and practices to embrace engagement, increase efficiency and get useful insights about our market. I will also try to attend seminars that I would not normally choose, to challenge the brain and get new perspectives.

As for the other 7 official bloggers, you were given the opportunity to bring a +1. Who will accompany you and why?
– I am bringing Anna-Carin Carnebro, I like her ability to explain complex things in a logic way and her passion for life in general and communications in particular. Also there was so many male bloggers so the choice of a woman was obvious.

Keep track of Pernilla and Anna-Carin!

Peter Rosdahl is surely an interesting blogger, and we’re more than happy to see him bloggin’ away at SIME Stockholm. If you don’t know him, here’s a chance to get a (quite compact) glance of who he is.

Hey Peter, who are you and what interests you?
–
I work as a freelance concept developer and digital strategist and I’m interested in what’s happening in the future of tech business. Everything from new ventures and entrepreneurs to creative agencies.

And what’s your thoughts on ‘the future is back on track’ – the topic that’ll influence this years SIME Stockholm?
– The future right now is about SoLoMo (Social, Locale, Mobile) and content and I would love to see more of that.

Who or what are you looking forward to see more of at Cirkus?
– I’m looking forward to listening to Rikard Steiber from Google and Heiko Hebig from Facebook.

And finally – which blogger are you bringing along to SIME and why?
–
I’m bringing SEO master Nikke Lindqvist, he’s cool.

Bloggers at #SIME12: Introducing Christoffer du Rietz +1

Blog posts   •   Nov 08, 2012 10:56 GMT

Posted by jennifer in Blog SIME Stockholm 12 | Nov 5, 2012 @ 9:15

If you followed the bloggers of SIME Stockholm last yearthe name Christoffer du Rietz may ring a bell. He did a fab job covering #SIME11, and we’re more than happy to welcome him again.

Hi Christoffer! For the ones who doesn’t know you – please, introduce yourself.
– Hi! I run a mobile app studio of 6 people out of Stockholm and Gothenburg called Mobisle, where I act as Head of Design, and also consult as a digital designer with a wide variety of clients. Since it’s no question mobile is the future of digital, this is my main focus and the perspective I will take on during SIME. Also, since I run my own company and we’re about to lunch a great new mobile dating service, I’m naturally very interested in the entrepreneurial and investor sessions.

What are your thought on ‘the future is back on track’ – this years main topic at SIME Stockholm??
– I see some irony in it, with a wink to 1999. We’re currently living in very exiting but also very weird times. The digital markets are at a 1999-like peak, with outrageous company valuations and no revenues, business model or tangible assets, while at the same time the world is in a deep financial crisis. It’s really going to be interesting to hear the attendants’ take on it all.

And which attendants or session are you looking forward to the most?
– There’s more than ever happening in the on-demand entertainment space right now with whole range of competitors crowding up the place in both TV, movies and music, so it’s going to be interesting to hear TV4, Magine, Comoyo, Spotify et. al. give their view of it all. It’s also always interesting to hear the state of the union from giants Facebook and Google. And Microsoft is more interesting to hear from than ever with their whole company turnaround going on. And lastly it’s going to be great to hear from a bunch of entrepreneurs that are on the top of their game, like Klarna co-founder Niklas Adalberth, spread their enthusiasm.

Finally – which +1 blogger are you bringing along to SIME and why?
–I’m bringing the very talented digital strategist Björn Alberts, who hired me for my first job and has been a mentor to me since. We’ve been to a couple of SIMEs together before and he always ads invaluable sense to the discussion. He’s been blogging for years and will love to have some new spark for thought to elaborate on the blog.

Keep track of Christoffer and Björn !

  • Bloggers at #SIME12: Introducing Robert Nyberg +1

    Posted by jennifer in Blog SIME Stockholm 12 | Nov 2, 2012 @ 10:43

SIME Stockholm is coming close, and amongst the awesome crowd of participants we have the top notch bloggers who’ll help us cover the event. One of them (and first out in our series of blogger introductions), isRobert Nyberg.

Tell us Robert, who are you, what do you do and what are you interested in?
    – I currently run a startup company with two peers called iGoMoon, and we work with WordPress managed solutions.  I am a Google evangelist, SEO geek, hardcore fan of Djurgårdens IF, and I also have two beautiful children  .

And how do you interpret this years main topic, ‘the future is back on track’?
    – The digital landscape is evolving rapidly and I think the main topic is reffering to, that it is possible with technology and innovation skills to  develope amazing new products or services right now and not in the future.

Who or what are you extra eager to see at SIME Stockholm?
    – I am looking forward to the mobile and social session with Richard Steiber from Google and I am also curious about the track, a journey in brand transformation. It will be great fun to interview and blog about some of these speakers and workshop leaders!

Since Robert didn’t find a +1 blogger to bring, we added one for him.  And we’re very happy to welcome Adam Hassan, yet another blog star passionate about right about anything digital, to SIME Stockholm 2012!

Keep track of Robert and Adam!

During the discussion, Ola and the Panelists reflect on the new digital opportunities in business, mobile, gaming and the nonprofit sector as well- giving us a taste of what’s to come in SIME’s upcoming conference-SIME Stockholm- November 13-14.

Google Hangouts make it possible to stream from our SIME Google+ page, the SIME Youtube Channel and from our website simultanously, allowing us to share our message with our network on the platform they prefer.
SIME had the rare opportunity to go and record our Hangout LIVE from the Google Sweden Studio. I would like to Thank everyone at Google for their help and support to make this possible. I would also like to Thank our Guests- Rikard Steiber, Colin Cragg and Therese Engström for their participation as well.

This was the first of many Google Hangouts and I encourage you readers to share your ideas about future topics we can cover, speakers you would like to see or general overall improvements that will make the viewing experience better.

So stay tuned for more SIME Magic.
