Sony Launches Reader Valentine’s Day Competition: Readers in Love

Press Release   •   Feb 01, 2011 10:52 GMT

To celebrate love in the written form, from novels and poems through to letters and cards, the Reader - Sony’s digital eBook - today launches its Readers in Love competition.

From 1st - 14th February 2011, The Readers in Love competition will help you impress your Valentine by creating your own personalised digital Valentine’s Day message for your loved one. Simply customise your choice of romantic book cover, add your own love message, be it a short poem or prose, and submit to the Readers in Love Library where the postings will be displayed at www.readersinlove.com.

Each day the most funny, romantic or thought provoking message will be voted for by the public and judged by Sony to win a Reader Pocket Edition, with their personalised message pre-loaded, in time for Valentine’s Day.

Reader by Sony is a slim and lightweight eBook reading device with a touch screen display that looks just like paper – a great way for those who love reading to carry thousands of their favourite books with them anywhere they go.

To enter the Readers in Love competition, submit your love message for your partner on the Readers in Love website at www.readersinlove.com, select UK and follow the below three steps:

  • Choose from six preset templates, add a photo of you and/or your loved one to create your own romantic book cover
  • Personalise with a book title, write a love message ‘dedicated’ to your Valentine
  • Share your very own personal Readers in Love tribute with friends and family via Facebook and Twitter and get them voting to increase your chances of winning

If you’re not lucky enough to win a Reader by Sony you can instantly download your Readers in Love book cover and message as a PDF format to keep and give as a special Valentine’s Day keepsake.
