Press info: Can you help Sooty fulfil his New Year’s resolution and give him a home?

Press Release   •   Jan 26, 2017 16:24 GMT

Sooty is an adorable, affectionate, large cat at TAG Pet Rescue who needs lots of love and attention

11 year-old Sooty - a large white and black cat at Thanet-based animal shelter TAG Pet Rescue – is hoping to fulfil the second of his New Year’s resolutions, and find a special home.

When he first arrived at TAG Pet Rescue, he was very overweight due to his previous owners not feeding him properly. He has now, through eating a controlled diet and plenty of fun filled exercise, lost most of this excess weight.

Now that he has met his first New Year’s resolution (to lose weight), he is ready to find a safe, good home.

Sooty needs a home where he can be the only cat and get all the love, and care he deserves - as well as lots of exercise and a careful diet.

Lin Bylett, one of the dedicated volunteers at TAG says: “Sooty is an absolutely adorable and really loving, large cat - like a little polar bear! - with a hugely loving nature to match.

“He loves to play chase as well as having a lap to be cuddled on and stroked, where he purrs and purrs. Sooty is a very handsome and intelligent cat and it is really funny to watch his antics playing with all his toys. He deserves a special home where he can get lots of attention.”

You can view a video of Sooty in action here: https://youtu.be/GF0qa0HH2Xk and see what a lovely chap he is.

If you could give Sooty a loving home and live in or around the Thanet area please call TAG on 01843 822931.
