​Say Hello to Summer

On April 21^st we were delighted to re-open holes 10-18 following the extensive bunker refurbishment which had taken place over the winter months. The Alison course has opened just in time to make the most of the evening daylight hours out on the golf course.

Alfresco dining is back, which definitely signals the start of summer! The Orangery Terrace and Outside Bar are both open, so why not take the opportunity to enjoy a drink or bite to eat whilst admiring the newly refurbished bunkers! Over in the Pavilion, the San Marco Terrace is also open, really helping to bring alive the Italian Brasserie atmosphere to the restaurant.

The grounds and gardens are also beginning to burst with colour! The vibrant spring daffodils brought in the start of the flowering season and now we are thrilled to see more flowers blooming and adding colour to the estate.

There’s plenty going on here at Stoke Park over the next few months, so make sure you don’t miss out on the chance to spend some time here with us this summer...

As we look ahead to May, we are getting excited about the two Bank Holidays the month brings. We can’t think of anything better than making the most of Stoke Park on an extra day off! There’s plenty to keep the children occupied out in the sunshine, from the playground and human-sized chess board to football goals out on the lawn. And whilst the children are busy running around, you can take the opportunity to sit back and relax. Head to the tranquil Spa Garden, recline on one of the outdoor sofas and watch the world go by...

We also have the next Ladies Lunch coming up on Wednesday 3^rd May when we are looking forward to welcoming our lovely ladies to enjoy lunch and a talk from Flaxman Fine Jewellery. 

The social calendar doesn’t stop there; in fact it only gets busier and better as we look ahead to June. Executive Chef, Chris Wheeler will be cooking a delicious three course lunch to celebrate Father’s Day on Sunday 18^th June. Make sure to have your smartest suit or dazzling dress ready for Saturday 24^th June when we can’t wait to celebrate the 25^th Annual Summer Ball in style. With plenty of champagne, dinner and dancing, it’s a night not to miss! Then to round up the month and bring in July, it’s the return of The Boodles for its 16^th Anniversary. From Tuesday 27^th June – Saturday 1^st July, the Champagne will be flowing in the English country garden setting, whilst the world’s best tennis players will be keeping everyone entertain in the intimate 2000 seat stadium!
