PRIME FOODS S.A.S. is a company dedicated to the cultivation, processing and marketing of Colombian healthy food products that strives to improve the lives of small growers and to offer products that seek to change the lives of people around the world. The company started operations in 2002 with the growing and commercialization of fresh fruits. After a few years of experience with fruits in the Colombian market, the company started focusing on the development of healthy food products and snacks.

Today, Prime Foods promotes its dried fruit bars 100% Natural, Gluten Free, Non-Gmo under the Tropee brand with four flavours: Mango, Pineapple, Baby Banana, and Fruit Mix. Also, the company introduced Quinoa as one of the main line of products to support approximately 600 Quinoa growers mainly from the Cundinamarca and Cauca regions. Currently, Prime Foods is one of the leading growers and exporters in Colombia, specializing in selling Quinoa grain and flour as a natural ingredient to the food industry and for packers that sell to retail mainly in the U.S. and Canada. Prime Foods commitment to Fair Trade goes beyond compliance providing a fair compensation to their growers, improving the quality of life at the workplace and encouraging head of family females to be part of the team.

Thru the Prodesic Foundation the company provides technical assistance to growers, physiological support to grower families, and encourages environmentally-friendly practices. On the other hand, Prime Foods responsibility and accountability towards consumers offering transparency and top of the line products with the highest quality standards. In addition, the company can supply customers all year round with a monthly production of 80/MT of Quinoa and 216,000 dried fruit bars among the four flavours.
