We would like to thank everyone who assisted with the search, and those who helped share our appeal; the community really pulled together to help offer their support in searching for David.

Our appeal on Facebook was shared over 1,900 times alone, this support is greatly appreciated by not only us, but the family of the boy.
We would also like to thank our colleagues from Surrey Search and Rescue who assisted with the search by providing a helicopter and boats to help look for the boy.

What we would ask now, is that his privacy is respected and his photo is removed from social media.
