Can you help us identify these men?

News   •   Jul 26, 2019 16:11 BST

We are appealing for witnesses after a miniature digger was stolen from Cleves Junior School in Walton on Thames on Monday (22 July).

The bright orange digger with ‘T Laughman’ printed on the side was stolen between 10pm and 11pm. The suspects drove the digger out, causing criminal damage to a fence and a number on concrete bollards. They then headed in the direction of Oatlands Chase, Ashley Road or Queens Road before driving it to Weybridge where the digger was located.

Surrey Police managed to locate the vehicle in this case due to it being fitted with a tracking device. As a preventative measure for thefts and robberies, we advise the public to look into installing devices such as these. If you would like some more advice about how to report a lost or stolen vehicle, visit our website:

The suspects have been caught on CCTV and we need the public’s help in identifying them. We also would like to speak to any witnesses who may have seen the digger being stolen and have any further information which could help us with our investigation. The two suspects were wearing shorts, t shirts, baseball caps and gloves.
