We have released an image of a man we would like to speak to in connection with a serious assault at a Guildford nightclub last month.

The victim was left with a fractured skull and a bleed on the brain after he was assaulted at the Casino nightclub around 1.30am on Sunday, 23 June.

The man was out with friends at the Casino nightclub in Onslow Street when he was approached and punched, causing him to lose consciousness. The victim was taken to hospital where he remained for several days before reporting the attack.

Detective Constable Pete Coe, who is investigating the incident, said: “We have released an image of a man we would like to speak to in connection with this assault in the hope that someone will recognise him and come forward and identify him. The victim is still suffering from complications as a result of the injuries he sustained and we are keen to identify the man in the image as soon as possible and continue to progress our investigation.”
