Two arrested after car collides into parked vehicles in Brighton

Sussex Police have arrested two men after cars were damaged in Brighton.

Officers received a report from the member of the public of a car colliding into two parked cars in May Road around 3.30am on Friday (July 18).

On the way to the scene, police saw a vehicle matching the description from the collision in Lewes Road and detained the driver and passenger.

A 29-year-old man from Brighton was arrested on suspicion of drink driving, driving without a licence and the possession of a class C drug. A 33-year-old man from Brighton was arrested on suspicion of being drunk and in charge of a motor vehicle and possession of a class A drug.

Both remain in custody and enquiries are ongoing.
