Two charged with crack cocaine supply in Brighton

Two men have appeared in court In Brighton, charged with crack cocaine supply offences, following a pre-planned police operation in the city on Tuesday (27 March).

Andre Wynter, 57, unemployed, of Cricketers Close, Erith, Kent, and Jacob Wynter, 31, a cashier, of Yeomans Close, London SE27, appeared at Brighton magistrates' court on Thursday (28 March), both charged with possession of crack cocaine with intent to supply.

Andre Wynter is also charged with possession of cannabis.

Jacob Wynter is also charged with possession heroin and cocaine with intent to supply, and possession of a firearm and ammunition without a certificate.

The Wynters are father and son.

They were both remanded in custody to appear at Lewes Crown Court on 25 April.

Officers had executed a warrant at an address in Wolseley Road, Portslade, on Tuesday evening, where they seized a quantity of drugs and a handgun and ammunition.
