New design language in 2011 Bathroom Book from Svedbergs

Press Release   •   Feb 04, 2011 12:49 GMT

This year’s Bathroom Book from Svedbergs contains many new features. The biggest innovation is the Style furniture range. Other new features include updates of popular furniture ranges, smart new WC and heated towel rails for the modern bathroom.

The largest Nordic bathroom supplier is now releasing its catalogue, with one hundred inspiring pages of bathroom furniture.
“One of Svedbergs’ strengths is that our development and production are carried out in Sweden. This means that we can experiment to achieve the best result as regards both design and function,” says Stefan Svensson, Svedbergs’ sales and marketing director.

New and updated furniture ranges
The biggest innovation is the Style bathroom range whose design stands out from everything else on the market.
“In spite of its strong character, Style suits many tastes – from those wanting a retro feel to those looking for an exciting modern style. And everything comes pre-assembled just like all Svedbergs’ furniture,” says Fredrik Jönsson at Svedbergs.

Svedbergs has also updated and developed the popular Classic, Indigo, Bianca and Easy furniture ranges. The minimalist Indigo range is available in the new colours of ash white and grey stained, while the compact Easy range sees the launch of an unusual solution: a corner washbasin and cabinet. The Elle Deco International Design Award-winning Bianca range has also been updated as regards design and functionality.
“We got Bianca’s designers, Mia Gammelgaard and Ehlén Johansson, to update the furniture. They replaced the vanity unit doors with drawer fronts and designed new handles. And you can now choose between red, grey or white fronts,” says Dan Pettersson, Svedbergs’ product development manager.

Easy-to-clean WC and modern heated towel rails
Two WC models are also new this year. They have been designed with a complete tank resulting in smooth lines and fewer joints to collect the dirt. They also have an internal plastic tank preventing condensation on the outside and are easy clean coated, preventing dirt from adhering.
“It’s often the small details that make a difference. Our new mixers and heated towel rails, Vento and Zanto, also have the essential finish that makes customers satisfied when everyday experience replaces the charm of novelty in the bathroom,” concludes Stefan Svensson.
