In this video we transfer 3 mls of urine from a larger collection tube into a proprietary tube for loading onto a Gen-Probe Tigris system. The tip pierces the foil and dispenses the sample within the tube. It uses standard Hamilton labware holders and allows barcode tracking of source and destination tubes.
A 4 channel STARLet system allows a cost effective option to a workflow bottleneck.
