Nov 19, 2015 15:39 GMT London Midland London Midland is adding extra carriages to 40 trains for the Worcester Victorian Christmas Fayre. Twenty-six services calling at the town’s two stations, Worcester Foregate Street and Shrub Hill , from Birmingham and Hereford, will have extra carriages on Saturday (28 November). On Sunday 29 November fourteen trains will have additional carriages.

​Birmingham – Wolverhampton local services suspended for the rest of today

The news follows an update to train operators as Network Rail engineers repair around half a mile of overhead power lines. Rail tickets are being accepted on National Express West Midlands buses and Midland Metro trams.

London Midland is aiming to get a full service on the route running in time for the evening peak. Local services between Birmingham and Wolverhampton will remain suspended until at least teatime . It is likely that there will be knock-on disruption for the rest of the day.
