London – Birmingham line still open for business

Feb 02, 2015 14:19 GMT London Midland London Midland is reminding rail users that the line between London and Birmingham, via Coventry and Rugby, is still open for business. Following Saturday's landslip between Leamington Spa and Banbury, London Midland is accepting Chiltern Railway tickets on its trains between Birmingham and Euston. Current estimates are that the line will be blocked until the start of next week.

Illicit tobacco and alcohol seized in Stoke-on-Trent

This follows confirmation from Network Rail that repair work to the overhead power lines between Wolverhampton and Stafford is complete.
