New dam to fight poverty in North Darfur

Sep 28, 2015 09:33 BST Practical Action Practical Action have worked with a community in North Darfur to complete a dam which will provide water to poor farming communities for the first time in more than a decade. Conflict in the region often erupts over scarce resources such as water and agricultural land. This project will help reduce opportunities for conflict.
