CNN visits a wintery Oslo Airport

Feb 13, 2013 07:00 GMT Oslo Lufthavn AS Just over a week ago, CNN's Richard Quest visited Oslo Aiport with his "Business Traveller" show. Quest was on a mission to learn how OSL handles Norway`s demanding winter weather. During the course of a very hectic weekend, he got to try his hand at operating the world's largest snowblower and de-icing an airplane. He also found time to visit the control tower and land a plane in a simulator.

Passenger growth surges in November

Arrival of EU leaders, heads of state and artists

As known, the prize was awarded to the EU, and many European leaders and artists will be arriving at Oslo via the Oslo Airport Gardermoen on Sunday, 9 December and Monday, 10 December. Most will land and depart from the military section of the airport or from GA – the terminal at the west end of the airport.

Temporary border control for international travel
