RAF Technician narrowly misses out on Olympic medal

Feb 26, 2014 09:55 GMT RAF Careers The Royal Air Force's Stuart Benson from Troon in Scotland has narrowly missed out on a medal with the Team GB Men’s Bobsleigh team at the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi. Benson, who is currently an Avionics Technician at RAF Cosford in Wolverhampton was part of the British team that finished fifth in the bobsleigh event - just 0.11 seconds off snatching a bronze medal.

Baines, an ICT Technician based at RAF Leeming in North Yorkshire was drafted in following an injury to Craig Pickering, the former Olympic sprinter.
