Public votes to retain Uttoxeter Leisure Centre’s name

Jul 16, 2014 15:22 BST East Staffordshire Borough Council In May 2014, East Staffordshire Borough Council gave residents, stakeholders and members the opportunity to have their say on the possible renaming of Uttoxeter Leisure Centre in readiness for its opening in early 2015. 83% of respondents were in favour of keeping the name ‘Uttoxeter Leisure Centre’ where as only 17% of responses voted for a change in the name.
