Saving the planet, one tree at a time......

Tahola continues in their partnership with The Green Earth Appeal to off set the carbon footprint created by fulfilling the services we provide to our customers, which relates to the traveling to and from customer sites, typically by train or car to provide consultancy services. Since July we have been planting a tree for every consultancy day provided and to date have planted 675 trees.

Why plant trees?

Because they change lives. They provide food, forage for animals, and wood for fuel and construction. They increase agricultural yields, improve water infiltration and aquifer recharge, and protect soils from wind and water erosion. However, planting trees can be difficult when the canopy has disappeared, topsoil has been eroded, and the climate and growing conditions have changed. As an agroforestry resource provider, Green Earth Appeal's tree planting partners work with local farmers and community groups to help them better support themselves and to restore degraded lands to sustainable productivity by planting trees that not only thrive in poor soil conditions, but that also benefit the local area in a multitude of ways.

If you want to be inspired, listen to Marvin Baker story, founder of The Green Earth Appeal and Carbon Free Dining, as he talks about his journey to planting 1,000,000 trees. Thousands of people's lives have been changed for the better, thanks to his passion and desire to make the world a better place.

Tahola Ltd are proud to support The Green Earth Appeal and will continue to plant more trees. If you'd like to find out how your company can support the initiatives, then get in touch to find out more.
