Ana Figueiredo works in the London Head Office as an Office Administrator. Her day-to-day activities include supervising volunteers, processing financial data and generally keeping the team organised and efficient!

What’s an interesting fact about yourself?

I’m originally from Portugal. I was born in Lisbon and grew up in a small town by the beach. I only go back home for Christmas but I miss the ocean and the food every day.

What do you most like doing when you’re not at work?

Eating is probably my favourite hobby so I spend a lot of time cooking or going out to eat. If I’m not at work you can also find me in a museum or at a theatre nearby.

What do you enjoy most about working as Office Administrator at The Sick Children’s Trust?

Knowing that I’m part of an organisation and a team with such an amazing cause. Growing up, both of my parents had cancer and were in the hospital for long periods of time so I know first-hand how crucial it is for a family to be able to be together in such a critical time of their lives.
