Michael Geeson, a police officer from Suffolk will be taking on a gruelling 205 mile cycle in just one day this June with colleagues and friends in aid of children’s charity, The Sick Children’s Trust.

Shaun Swales and Amy Lax were supported by The Sick Children's Trust when their daughter, Alexia was born prematurely with gastroschisis. Alexia needed specialist treatment in the Royal Victoria Infirmary and Leeds General Infirmary. First time parents, Shaun and Alexia were able to stay close by to their newborn daughter in the charity's Crawford and Eckersley House.

David Grundy from Newmarket, Suffolk completed the Grand East Anglian 10k with good friend, Karl Davis and raised a fantastic £1,411 for The Sick Children's Trust.

Eva O'Brien was born in December 2013 weighing just 490 grams, the same weight as a small bag of sugar. She was rushed to the Royal London Hospital for specialist surgery and her family were able to stay close by in Stevenson House during her treatment. Almost five months on, brave, baby Eva has finally been discharged from hospital and has gone home for the first time.
