When he was almost a year old Oska Feasey became very unwell and was rushed into hospital. He deteriorated quickly and was blue-lighted across to Royal Victoria Infirmary where his family were supported in Crawford House. They spent several weeks living in the ‘Home from Home’ over the Christmas period and have been supported by the charity twice more since.

Jasmine Casey was born seriously ill and underwent 11 operations in the first six months of her life. During this time her parents were supported at Crawford House. Since finding out more about The Sick Children's Trust, Jasmine has been determined to raise money and awareness for the charity.

Jack was born with a rare condition, duodenal atresia, which occurs in 6,000 babies. At just two days old, he underwent major surgery and remained in hospital for the first three weeks of his life . While Jack's mum could sleep on the ward, Jack's dad was supported at Crawford House. Jack is now doing really well and his family and friends have raised over £450 for Crawford House.

Crawford Assistant House Manager, Emily, was supported at Crawford House five years ago when her son, Daniel, was born at just 25 weeks. Since then, Emily has become a support to many of the families who pass through the door at Crawford House. Here she shares her experience.
