Celebrating 150 years of Peabody

Goosebumps

Goosebumps are proud to have been invited to the 150 year anniversary of Peabody at a service held at Westminster Abbey. Peabody is one of the largest providers of good quality, affordable homes across London, and one of our oldest clients. At this event over 1,800 residents, employees, and supporters came together to celebrate the life and legacy of George Peabody – whose mission to ‘ameliorate the condition of the poor and needy in this great metropolis’ is still as relevant and still the driving force behind everything Peabody does today.

Goosebumps’ role in Peabody’s history, and the reason we were invited to the service, was because we developed their current brand strategy, and designed their current identity, with the intention of reminding people of what made Peabody special and unique. Social housing shouldn’t be just about bricks and mortar; it should be about giving people the things they need to gain confidence and self-respect, creating opportunities. It was extremely rewarding to have our logo mark and mission statement play a part in such an occasion.
