Features Part II - CADspace

Picking up on our series of posts about theCADcube's features, we turn our attention to a key aspect of the service, CADspace.
CADspace allows you to save and share CAD models you find within theCADcube library. This means you can group specific products together as you download them, or to download later. For example you may want to save all the 3D models you are going to use in a bathroom separate from those you will use in a kitchen, or you may just want to keep track of items you like.
You can create as many CADspace 'folders' as you wish, so you can organize by project, client, room or whatever else you like.
To create a new CADspace, simply go to your dashboard and click 'Create CADspace'. Name it and personalise it with a picture. Once you have a created one or more CADspaces, they will be visible in the 'Current CADspaces' section of your dashboard. Hovering over the 'view/edit' button will display information about that CADspace, as shown below.
Adding a CAD model to a CADspace is very simple. When viewing a particular product, click the 'Add to CADspace' button and you are presented with a drop-down list of all your current CADspaces and the option to create a new one.
Once you have added your selected models to a CADspace you can easily download everything all at once or individually. Go to your current CADspaces within your dashboard, select one, and you will see all the models that you have added. You then have the option of clicking 'Download' on each individual object or you can click the 'Download All' button. This will bring up a list of all your selected models and the file formats in which they are available. Simply check the boxes of your preferred format and press 'Download'.
Finally, you can share any CADspace with any other user on theCADcube. When within a particular CADspace, click 'Share' and enter the username of the person who you wish to share your CADspace with. Once you do this, you and the other user, or users, can add, remove and download models from the same CADspace, making it easy to collaborate on a project.
