A very important aspect of the modern mobile phone is the storage capacity that comes supplied with the phone. The HTC One X features 32GB of internal storage but the manufacturers have included the excellent Dropbox app on the phone which gives users a free cloud storage account. The beauty of this service is that it stores your files remotely which means that they are safe even if your handset is lost or stolen. Dropbox features an auto sync option which means data is saved immediately which reduces the need to manually back up your data. By selecting this option it also enables the service to act like the Photostream option that is featured on the popular iPhone 4S.

HTC have acknowledged that many smartphone users actually use their device as a driving accessories thanks to useful features such as the music player and maps facility. The HTC One X features an In Car mode which customises the phone so it is user friendly for anybody who is driving. When this option is selected the user is presented with large icons that relate to relevant features on the phone such as Maps and Music. Each of these icons can be accessed by simply swiping your finger across the screen. The feature also links to other areas of the phone such as the Calendar. This means that if you have an appointment stored simply clicking on it will present you with directions to the location. A couple of additional third party apps also stand out on this model. We find the Evernote app the perfect way of storing content on your phone so it can be easily picked up from a home computer or vice versa. 7Digital will appeal to music fans thanks to the massive selection of over 19 million songs that can be purchased from the phone.

The HTC One X is a very special mobile device and part of the appeal of the model is that it boasts one of the most comprehensive selections of applications available on any phone.
