Cobham to Exhibit at Air Force Association's 2012 Air & Space Conference and Technology Exposition

Cobham will exhibit a variety of air warfare-related products during the Air Force Association’s (AFA) 2012 Air & Space Conference and Technology Exposition at the Gaylord National Resort & Convention Center, 201 Waterfront Street, National Harbor, Maryland USA.

Cobham’s exhibit will be located in Booth #1423. While no media briefings have been scheduled, Cobham personnel will be available to discuss their products with interested media. Cobham’s exhibit will be open during the exhibition hall’s business hours:
 Monday, 17 September: 1130 – 1600
 Tuesday, 18 September: 0930 – 1600
 Wednesday, 19 September: 0930 – 1600
Cobham’s capabilities at AFA 2012 will include situational awareness, force protection,
and safety and survivability solutions, including:
 Antenna Systems – airborne antennas; air-to-ground antennas; ground station
antennas; multi-sector antennas.
 Composite components – medium to high temperature aircraft engine
components; missile flight structures and launch tubes; flight critical aircraft
structural, airframe and control surface components; flight structural munitions
components, countermeasure products; composite RF radomes for the aerospace,
defense and communications markets.
 Defense Electronics – conformal data links; electronic warfare antennas; spacequalified amplifers; GPS antennas; single and multiband communication / navigation
/ identification (CNI) antennas.
 Life Support products – on-board oxygen generating systems (OBOGS) for A-10 /
F-15 retrofit; on-board inert gas generating systems (OBIGGS) for C-17 retrofit;
deployable oxygen generating systems – medical (DOGS-M) for field hospitals.
 Microwave components – waveguide components / switches; integrated antenna
assemblies; rotary joints; cable systems; pedestals / gimbals-rotating systems;
integrated RF/RFE assemblies; aftermarket support.

 Mission Equipment – weapons carriage and release products; air-to-air refueling
systems for manned aircraft (KC-46, KC/MC-130J) and unmanned aerial systems
(KQ-X), including the latest generation of variable speed refueling drogues and
drogue illumination systems.

 Safety & Survivability products – integrated / mobile aircrew restraint system
(I/MARS) / mobile aircrew vest interface (MAVI); pre-tensioning aircrew restraint
systems (PARS); vacuum packed life raft; ballistic powered interia reel.
