Hollywood gives thumbs up to Tenerife filming of new blockbuster.

It has been announced that Hollywood's movie morals have given the go ahead for the second incarnation of Clash of the titans to be filmed in Tenerife.
Filmed in 2009 the first Clash of the Titans film was a major coop for Tenerife bringing much needed business to the island while showcasing it to millions of fans.
It seems that again the island has managed to attract the attention of the major film producers as they get their cameras ready to film part two.
The film has yet to be formally named however some of the cast has already been established and includes some of the planets hottest stars with Liam Neeson and Sam Worthington returning to their roles from the previous film.
The sequel is expected to be on a larger scale than the first film and expects are expecting tourist revenue in the area to increase by over 5 million euros.
Speaking on behalf of Tenerife travel firm Tenerifeholidays.co.uk, Russ Beech said “there was speculation that the sequal would be filmed here but to have confirmation is fantasic news for our business! We expect sales of Costa Adeje holidays and Playa de las Ameicas hotels to soar once filming begins as they are the closest resorts to the filming location.”
The film is set be filmed during 2012 ready to be released at some point in 2013.
