MHC support worker raises £6,500 for the British Heart Foundation

Tim Parsonage, a support worker and activity co-ordinator who works at MHC’s Highfield site has raised more than £6,500 for the British Heart Foundation during a recent Three Peaks Challenge climb.

The Three Peaks Challenge involves walking to the top of the highest mountains inScotland,EnglandandWaleswithin a twenty-four hour period, a feat which Tim and his team managed to complete in the highly impressive time of twenty-two hours.

Tim said, ‘this was a great challenge for me.  Unfortunately my mum passed away in February and it seemed like a suitable way to remember her.  So far, we’ve raised more than £6,500, but we are hoping to increase that to £7.500 by the time we finish our fundraising.’
