Following the success of Peacock Bar London's cocktail classes we have created our own cupcake making & decorating party classes with an emphasis very much on fun for hen party and birthday party groups. Cupcake classes is just one of a number of the many Peacock Bar London hen party activities which include cocktail lessons, afternoon cream teas, pole dancing classes, burlesque lessons and champagne tastings.

We also do "romantic", "dating" and "girls night out" cupcake  classes too.

"Party" Cupcake making and decorating classes

Following the success of Peacock Bar London's cocktail classes we have created our own cupcake making & decorating party classes with an emphasis very much on fun for hen party and birthday party groups. Cupcake classes is just one of several Peacock Bar London hen party activities which include cocktail lessons, afternoon cream teas, pole dancing classes, burlesque lessons and champagne tastings

-the basics.  Each class lasts an hour with each participant making eight cupcakes.  Your Peacock bar London dedicated teacher will show how to use different pastes, swirls, sparkles, glitters and of course how to cut figurines to make  the perfect cupcake.

-dressing up.  The Peacock Bar London  staff will kit you out in 40s style cooking aprons , tiaras and pearls (well its a classy hen party right?) to  get the mood right

-scoring.  Peacock Bar London's staff will provide scoring cards with silly messages from "Nice face pity about the cupcakes" to "Three Michelin Stars" for our staff and you to score each other.

-photos.  Our photographer will be taking photos through  out  to record your efforts.

Whats more you will be doing all this in our beautiful burlesque styled venue with Marilyn Monroe films flickering on the walls and hairbrush divas playing in the background.  You can also  combine your cupcake making classes with our cocktail classes, our Posh or chav champagne tasting classes. or  maybe our afternoon cream teas -  well you have got to eat your cakes sometime?  And do not forget all our cocktails are 2 for 1 pre 8pm too.

Each group has a dedicated teacher and the minimum class size is 4 (there is no maximum size but for groups over 20 we will use two teachers). Classes are available from midday to 4pm on Saturdays (by special arrangements for other times).  The cost per person is £35 which includes a posh box to put  your cupcakes into to take away  - that’s if you do not eat them first.

"Romantic"  "Dating"  "Friends"  "Girls Night Out"  and "Corporate" Cupcake Classes

Whilst the basic structure of all  of our cupcake classes are the same the emphasis is very different. In each case the aim is to make eight beautiful cupcakes but we provide  spare cupcake bases in case of the odd slip up on the way not to mention the odd tasting or two or three or....

- for the "romantic" cupcake classes the pace is slower and the emphasis on execution and presentation. We find that it works best if we use a variety of different flavoured cupcake bases and also  for the starry eyed couple  to take a break together to sample  one ot two of their creations possibly over a cocktail or glass of champagne?    Our scoring cards are also more on a romantic ("The best boyfriend in the world ever") tip.

- our  "dating" cupcake classes are a bit like our romantic ones  but our teacher   will get you to make some of the cupcakes  together and if the mood is right maybe say "wow you make such a cute couple". Then take a break together to over a glass of champagne or maybe a cocktail.  Our scoring cards are also more on the  flirtatious side  ("The best date  in the world ever", "my place or yours?")

- our "friends" cupcake lessons follow the "party" cupcake class format but are a bit more restrained and a lot more casual... we basically play it by ear and follow your lead .  Our scoring cards are also more restrained too but still fun ("null points")

- our "girls night out "  lessons follow the "party" cocktail class format ....  Our scoring cards are also rather girly too  ("nice face pity about the cupcakes")

- for the "corporate" cupcake classes we find adding  a bit of  competition often works really well including having awards for  the best  and worst performers with the trainer(s) scoring you on execution, presentation, style and design skills. .  Our scoring cards also have more of a corporate slant too ("must try harder").

Now  everything we do is  customisable and we find it really helps if  tell us lots about the group generally  and the  the guest of honour.   That way we can get the style, pace and content of your class just right for you.
