Stansted - A nice place to live

UTOPIA, or close to it, is how The Times describe the area of Uttlesford in Essex.
According to a Halifax report of the best places to live in the UK and published in The Times, Uttlesford was voted fourth, behind Elmbridge in Surrey, East Hertfordshire and Surrey Heath.
The report looked at issues such as level of earnings, employment prospects, health, longevity, house sizes, school examination results and weather, compared to the rest of the Country.
Sevenoaks in Kent was fifth and findings were heavily influenced by areas conveniently situated in the Commuter belt.
The top of the report was dominated by the South East, where seven out of the most popular ten local authority districts are located.
With the publication of this report, Asset Land Inc.’s decision to purchase an investment opportunity in the Stansted area, is reinforced.
The site is located close to the picturesque village of Stansted Mountfitchet and close to the airport. With its close proximity to London and Cambridge the region has attracted much interest from property developers.
Asset Land Inc. point out that the national home builder Taylor Wimpy, have recently built a number of houses nearby and interest in the area continues to flourish. Persimmon Homes also have a development in the conurbation.
A Strategic Housing Market Assessment (“SHMA”) Report published on the Uttlesford District Council website (specifically written for the housing markets of the London Commuter Belt (East)/M11 sub-region), identifies that a further 8,000 houses will need to be built in the Uttlesford area before March 2021. With the strategic plan being commissioned back in April 2001, it worked out that an average of 400 extra houses per month in the area is required.
A senior director of Asset Land Inc said, “There is a shortage of new homes being built so this report coupled with the recent Budget is good news. With this Government being committed to meeting Britain's housing needs and now this report, the timing has never been more right to invest in Stansted”.
Asset Land Inc has developed a simple process to purchase plots of land for sale in prime locations for their investors. They have several opportunities across the UK and have stripped away the complexity of buying plots for sale.
