Tommy's and Asda

Tommy's

Apr 30, 2012 10:18 BST

Asda has supported Tommy’s since 2000, raising over £3 million in that time. Asda's support is crucial for us, helping us to fund vital research to find out why things go wrong in pregnancy and birth. Their continued support has helped to give every baby the best chance of being born healthy.

Pregnancy guides available in Asda pharmacies from April 21

Tommy’s newly launched guide ‘Having a healthy pregnancy’ will be available in Asda’s 218 Pharmacies from 23 April. These guides will be handed out alongside free folic acid provided by Asda. 50,000 additional guides have been produced for this campaign, which will be aimed at women who are pregnant or are trying for a baby. This activity is aimed to provide thousands of women with free folic acid from the start of their pregnancy as well as access to information about how to have a healthy pregnancy.

Please note: 50,000 guides have been distributed to all Asda pharmacies – once these have run out there will be no additional guides available at Asda pharmacies.

Hazel’s story

It took Hazel ten years to have a successful pregnancy. Over her ten year journey Hazel developed a relationship with Tommy’s – and first spoke to one of our midwives five weeks into her pregnancy with Lucy. Watch the film to find out more about Hazel’s experience, and view details of the Tommy’s PregnancyLine which has been funded by the Asda Foundation:
