Tyre sealant specialist joins TyreSafe family

One of the UK’s leading tyre sealant providers, Air-Seal Products, has ‘sealed’ the deal by putting pen to paper and becoming TyreSafe’s newest member.

However, it’s certainly in good company as other members of the not-for-profit organisation include tyre retailers and distributors, car manufacturers, insurers and public bodies – all keen to help promote tyre safety.

“Air-Seal Products will be a valuable addition to TyreSafe. Indeed, it seems particularly appropriate that Air-Seal should join TyreSafe as its products are designed to prevent punctures and have a heavy emphasis on making driving safer.

“Its decision to become a member is also a confirmation that TyreSafe is making a real difference for all road users and helping prevent totally unnecessary and avoidable accidents,” says Stuart Jackson, chairman, TyreSafe.

TyreSafe is now in its sixth year and since its inception its activities have helped reduce the number of people killed or seriously injured each year in a tyre related accident by 38 per cent.

Apart from its annual Tyre Safety Month campaign held every October, the organisation also runs a number of targeted tyre safety initiatives aimed at particular audiences, such as motorcyclists, young drivers and fleet operators.

Meanwhile, Air-Seal Products was established in 2000 and offers a unique range of tyre sealants to help prevent punctures and slow air leaks which can be used by vehicles on or off road, from wheelbarrows to dumper trucks.
