Villeroy & Boch bathroom collections with a trendy vintage look
Retro and vintage are in vogue – in wardrobes, on plates and in homes. And design classics are also making a comeback in bathrooms by giving timeless designs of bygone eras a modern twist. The Villeroy & Boch bathroom collections combine grace with innovative technology and contemporary comfort.
Antheus: The magnificent elegance of the 1920s
Fine materials, balanced proportions and geometric contours inspired by the playfulness of Art Deco and the puristic clarity of Bauhaus – this is Antheus from Villeroy & Boch. Developed by the designer Christian Haas, the premium collection proves that lightness and elegance can be combined with a contemporary classic look to create an unusual yet timeless design. The exceptional blend of real wood veneer, stainless steel and marble accentuate the elegant design while giving the bathroom a unique and individual look. The comprehensive range of Antheus not only meets the desire of discerning customers for lasting values, premium workmanship and enduring design, but also opens up a whole new spectrum of personalised bathrooms at the highest level.
Subway Infinity: Inspired by Heritage
The new shower trays radiate pure retro and will become the eye-catching highlight in any bathroom thanks to their custom ViPrint decors. Inspired by Heritage is influenced by the artistic patterns of the famous Mettlach tiles from the 19th century as well as the Villeroy & Boch tile pattern that once adorned the floors of the Titanic. The modern take on the four motifs Abbey Grey, Abbey Blue, Townhouse and Palazzo with the latest colours and stylish motif combinations creates a distinctive style that goes perfectly with the trendy retro look.
Hommage: Timeless design and the highest quality
The Hommage collection is inspired by the opulent bathrooms found in major European cities around the turn of the century. A striking and linear design lends bathrooms a classic elegant touch. The elaborate stepped relief on the ceramics is striking and gives the range a soft undertone. The warm walnut shade of the furniture and the high-quality Carrara marble underline the stylish look of the collection. Hommage leaves nothing to be desired, depending on the chosen configuration and fittings: bathrooms in Berlin in the 1920s were understated and traditional, in London they were considerably more luxurious whereas in Paris at that time they were rather more sophisticated and elegant.
