Villeroy & Boch at Ambiente 2017 - continuation of the successful product strategy

Villeroy & Boch is planning to use on-trend Food Specials and appealing gift collections to once again stand out in the professional and consumer markets in 2017. At the Ambiente international spring fair, the Tableware Division will be presenting attractive new products representing a continuation of the company's successful product strategy. "Reflecting the saying "Never change a winning team", our focus themes once again revolve around the strong trends of "cooking & pleasure" and "giving", which Villeroy & Boch is addressing with new consumer-oriented products. New arrivals are joining the pleasure concepts in the "Passion" collection as well as the "Clever Cooking" range, essential items that no household should be without. We have also developed themed and seasonal gift items designed to be given to others or purchased as little treats for yourself all year round – suitable for any occasion, in different price brackets and brimming with style. And Villeroy & Boch is also launching strong colours, new patterns and fresh looks for the table."

Food Specials: maximum pleasure

New items are appearing, for example, in the BBQ Passion collection, which Villeroy & Boch successfully launched two years ago in the steadily growing "outdoor living" market.

Villeroy & Boch will be introducing a burger plate designed to hold freshly grilled burgers together with dips and accompaniments, as well as a kebab plate with a practical hollow to stop the skewer from sliding.

There will also be some new additions in the Pizza Passion collection, including a Party Plate for six people, designed to easily serve pizza slices to guests or family. Not forgetting the new Pasta Passion lasagne server with silicone handles, ideally shaped to coordinate with the Clever Cooking ceramic oven dishes. The latter range also now features practical new "helpers", such as silicone handles and lids in two colours. As well as a new ceramic colander that truly lives up to the collection name, ideal for clever cooking and serving: to strain, simply fold down the coloured silicone cover. After draining, rotate slightly to fold it up and transform the colander into a stylish serving bowl that you can place directly on the table.

Appealing gift items: charming, stylish and individual

The new additions in the gift items segment are tailored to the wishes and requirements of different target groups. The best-selling NewWave Caffè is launching a third version of the "Animals of the World" decor featuring colourful butterflies – ideal for collectors and coffee-lovers alike. With this delicate butterfly pattern, Villeroy & Boch is transposing a current fashion trend to premium porcelain. These exotic iridescent creaturesare depicted in loving detail, making them very realistic representations of their real-life counterparts from Colombia, Cuba, Costa Rica and Brazil.

With its gently curving organic design, the large leaf dish is exceptionally stylish and classic, an exclusive eye-catching feature in any location – whether at home, in a company reception area, a doctors' practice or law office. The elegant dish will be available in new versions: the opulent floral decor of the Quinsai Garden pattern and the two Oriental-style decors of Samarah and Golden Oasis. There is also an undecorated Classic White option, a real allrounder that will coordinate ideally with any interior design.

The new hand-made items in the Oronda vase series also make decorative design objects. Each classic round-bodied vase features an individual marbled effect created in four layers of glass using a skilled manual technique. The vases are available in two sizes and two colours, bright orange or vibrant blue, each with white details. The new vases make ideal gifts for a wide variety of occasions. As an alternative to the trendy marbled effect, the Oronda vase is also available in six modern rich single-colour looks. Oronda will also be presented in a mini version at Ambiente.

New products for the table and POS activities in 2017

Villeroy & Boch has, of course, also developed some attractive new tableware products for 2017. As well as complete new series, existing successful collections are also being expanded to include new products, patterns and colours. One of the highlights in autumn is sure to be the best-selling NewWave in an innovative stone look, a classic for 15 years.

All the new products for 2017 will be on display at the Frankfurt exhibition centre from 10 to 14 February 2017, on the Villeroy & Boch stand inHall 4 Level 1 StandA02.
