We’d like to hear from you: Virgin CrossCountry Passengers’ Panel

Virgin Trains is inviting people to join its Virgin CrossCountry Passengers’ Panel to make sure the management team hears the voice of travellers even more clearly.

Managing Director, Chris Gibb, said: “We are looking for around 20 members to meet with our senior managers three or four times a year to discuss key issues and plans. We hope to get a good mix of people to reflect the wide variety of Virgin CrossCountry customers. Meetings are expected to be within the area bounded by Preston, Newcastle, Reading and Bristol and require a commitment of one day each. The Panel will complement existing channels, including Customer Forums at stations, and letters, phone calls and emails to our Customer Relations team.

“In a letter being distributed onboard Virgin CrossCountry trains this week, I am asking volunteers to register their interest by Friday 7 April. They should complete and return the form on the back of the letter, which can also be found on our website at: www.virgintrains.co.uk. Further information is available from Customer Relations on 0870 789 1234 or 0121 654 7528 (text phone).”

The Passengers’ Panel will be run by Virgin Trains, supported by Passenger Focus, the national body the represents rail passengers in Britain.
