Amid research showing that 15% of Britons have pledged to take a more active approach to their health in January[i] as part of their New Year resolutions, Vision Express is offering a free eye test at all of its stores across both the UK and Ireland.
With nearly one third of respondents to a YouGov poll (32%) admitting their resolutions are usually broken by the end of January, the online eye test voucher is downloadable until 31 January can be redeemed at any of the optician’s 390 stores until the end of February 2017.
The initiative is a bid to encourage people to prioritise their eye health in 2017. Over 2 million people in the UK are living with sight loss[ii] - and for over half of these (53%), a simple sight test and new glasses could make all the difference.
A reported 37% of people put off having an eye test due to concern about the cost[iii], the free, comprehensive eye test sets aside affordability and is available now via a voucher at https://www.visionexpress.com/book-eye-test/
