Appello's Wisepilot GPS Navigator claims top two spots in test by Mobil magazine

Mobil magazine has compared nine different mobile navigators for iPhone and Android. Appello’s local Wisepilot mobile navigator versions took both first and second place in the test. First place went to Telia Navigator and other Wisepilot versions, Telenor Navigation, Samsung Navigator and Wisepilot for Xperia came in second.

In the comparison between nine different mobile GPS navigators for the iPhone and Android, Appello’s Wisepilot navigator took both first and second place. The decisive qualities were a combination of simplicity, overall user experience and a wide number of useful features based on a mix of local and global content.

Mobil also highlighted the multimodal navigation option included in all four versions. This feature gives users a mix of pedestrian, vehicle navigation and a supplemented search for all public transport (bus, subway, trams and trains) to take you to your final destination, offering great value for people on the move.

The test was carried out for the iPhone and Android, but Appello’s navigator is available on all major mobile platforms (additionally Window Mobile, BlackBerry and Symbian).
