DEWALT® Attends World of Concrete Show 2017

LAS VEGAS, NV (January 17, 2017) – DEWALT® attends World of Concrete Show with a wide range of tool, accessory, and anchoring solutions for construction applications. Many of these tools are part of the DEWALT Perform & Protect™ line of tools designed to provide a high level of one or more of the following: control, dust containment or low vibration, without sacrificing performance. DEWALT is debuting fifteen new Grinders and nine new Rotary and Demolition Hammers at the show. With six new Lanyard Ready™ Grinders, all of the fifteen are Made in the USA with Global Materials and feature multiple size options and trigger types. The new Rotary Hammers include the 1-9/16" SDS 60V MAX* Combination Hammer which offers fast and efficient drilling in hard concrete. The constant speed control allows the tool to maintain RPM. It features three-mode operation for rotary hammer drilling, chipping and drill-only as well as the DEWALT E-Clutch® system which senses the motion of the tool and reduces the motor torque to a manageable level if necessary. The unit’s brushless motor provides power and long runtime in demanding applications and as part of the DEWALT FLEXVOLT® System, the 1-9/16" SDS MAX 60V MAX* Combination Hammer comes kitted with the new DEWALT 9.0Ah FLEXVOLT® Battery.

Also at the World of Concrete Show, DEWALT is announcing the DUSTX+™ Adhesive Installation System. Accessories featured at the show include the new Hollow Drill Bit, in both SDS+ & SDS MAX formats. The Hollow Drill Bit connects directly to the DEWALT Airlock™ System forming a secure, locking connection between the Drill Bit and a DEWALT dust extractor.

DEWALT also recently launched DEWALT Anchors, Engineered by Powers. This launch allows DEWALT to offer a full system for an entire project; from the design phase through construction and completion. Included in the line are Cast-In-Place Anchors, Woodknocker® II+ anchors, Bang-It® anchors, DEWALT Deck Insert™ (DDI™) anchors, Post-Installation Anchors, Screw-Bolt+™ anchors, Hangermate®+ anchors, and Adhesive Anchoring Solutions.
