KEBONY ANNOUNCES HEALTHY SURPLUS OF RAW MATERIALS FOR DECKING AND CLADDING

St. Clair, MI – April 6, 2020 – Environmentally friendly modified wood manufacturer Kebony today announced the company has enough radiata pine in inventory to fill orders for decking and cladding projects through June of this year, according to Kebony US Director Andy Hehl.

“Since the beginning of the year, sales have been particularly strong for Kebony,” Hehl said, “which was taken into consideration in our purchasing for future quarters. The result was a healthy supply of raw materials, which turned out to be fortunate because many supply chains have been affected by the COVID-19 virus.”

Supply chain bottlenecks of equipment and materials and temporary slowdowns in manufacturing due to COVID-19 have caused projects to be delayed due to a lack of available materials. Kebony’s surplus, coupled with its lack of reliance on Asian resources, has put the company in a better position to currently serve construction projects with decking and cladding materials.

Hehl said he believes the surplus of radiata should hold until the economic effects of COVID-19 have stabilized. In the meantime, Kebony US, in keeping with national, state and local mandates, has its sales team and agents working from home, fielding calls and emails. And Kebony US’s new website, www.kebony.us, has rolled out features to help connect with customers digitally in new ways, including free sample order, online quotes, and virtual presentations.

Wood has been living, growing, experiencing. A testament of time, with details and characteristics, stimulating our senses, and giving us a sense of quality of life.

A material we treat with outermost respect, and deserves to age with dignity. That’s why we invented a natural formula with no compromises, turning wood into a strong, sustainable and long lasting part of our future.
