Lenovo Introduces Miix 630 to Compete Against iPad Pro

Lenovo has announced that their new range of hybrid laptops, named as Miix 630, will be available from March or April this year, with the price range starting from US$799. Miix 630 boasts of LTE connectivity and includes a Snapdragon 835 processor that also offers extended battery life of up to 20 hours over a 4G connection.

The announcement was made at the CES 2018, saying that the product will be primarily targeting business to business clients as well as consumers who require laptops with LTE connectivity. Miix 630 is strange in itself as it has a full keyboard as well as touch screen, and runs on Windows 10S operating system. The internet based operating system will help in function with smaller memory size.

While the 20 hours battery life would be the best in the class, Lenovo has not revealed what would be its exact capacity. The company is offering Miix 630 in two options of 4GB RAM or 8GB RAM, which will come with 128GB of 256GB of internal memory respectively.

Some of the key specifications of the Lenovo Miix 630 are: USB Type C Port, 12.3-inch screen in the dimension of 1,920 x 1,280, 13 megapixel front camera, NanoSIM port, WiFi 802.11ac, and Bluetooth 4.1. The laptop will weigh merely 1.33 kg and will include the Lenovo Pen stylus.

The new Lenovo laptop will go head to head with Apple’s iPad Pro, which has garnered significant consumer base since the introduction of its first version back in November 2015.
