Jon Puzzuoli (www.PuzzPottery.com), is a local artist living and creating in Stamford, Connecticut.  Clay has been Jon’s lifeblood for eight years.  Before making his transition to the ceramic arts, Jon studied black and white photography.

In 2003 Jon discovered Lakeside Pottery (www.lakesidepottery.com) where his devotion for pottery blossomed.  After touching clay that summer, Jon knew he had found his future in the arts.  He therefore quit his job and devoted his life to ceramic art and teaching pottery.

Jon quickly moved up the ranks at Lakeside Pottery.  Now Jon teaches several adult programs, manages the studio, and teaches after school and camp programs for children.  The Loft Artists of Stamford accepted Jon into their fold in 2011.

Puzzuoli creates bold but classic forms and glazes that are balanced beautifully with expressive and fluid elements. By means of rich surfaces and glazes that run into beautiful streams, he reveals both the rawness of natural clay and subtle touch of the artist's hand.

Jon’s one-of-a-kind works include:  ceramic tables, lamps, chandeliers, vases, teapots, platters, bowls, ginger jars, pitchers, flower pots and miniatures.
