Stockholm, Sweden - December 3rd 2015 - AppAction, a better way to share Instagram posts on social media, launches today after a 6 month closed beta with leading brands and businesses. The platform’s main feature helps users drive traffic and engagement to their Instagram accounts via improved sharing to Facebook and Twitter.
While working at Facebook, AppAction Co-Founder Colin Treseler noticed two trends that led him to create AppAction. First, he saw that many businesses were becoming Instagram first in their approach to social media, but lacked the tools they needed to promote their Instagram posts with their existing followers on other channels. Second, he noticed how critical it is to have high engagement rates immediately after a post goes live on Instagram. “We saw a growing base of Instagram first businesses that wanted to leverage their followers on other channels, but had no real mechanism to drive them to Instagram in those first few critical minutes.”
After months of testing with all sizes of accounts, the team is rolling out their platform today with an average increase in engagement of 23% per Instagram post shared on AppAction. “We are thrilled to see the success our users are having and are excited to bring this lift to more Instagram accounts,” added Co-Founder Fabian Perez.
