In August 2009, dPCom received "CE" approval for its software, Sensometrics® Software. This allows Sensometrics® Software to be used in a clinical context in Europe and dPCom is able to initiate cooperation with industrial actors within the EU area.
CE approval in today's format has existed since 1993, and shows whether a product complies with EU regulations for safety, health and the environment. CE approval is a symbol of free marketing within the EU. CE authentication is required for all products being used within the health sector.
