“El Portal Sedona is pleased to receive a TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence,” said Steve Segner, owner of El Portal. “We strive to offer our customers a memorable trip to Sedona and El Portal, and this honor is evidence that our customers believe we are achieving this with their positive reviews on TripAdvisor. We want our guests to feel like family; we consider excellent service an integral part of the serenity of the Southwest experience.”
El Portal Sedona Hotel is celebrating its 10th Anniversary this month. Its unpretentious luxury makes it unique among other Sedona hotels. To the Segners, there was no question that an upscale, luxury inn could provide style, the best amenities and personalized concierge services for guests and their pets. The twelve room luxury inn was designed and built with painstaking attention to detail, featuring turn of the century Southwestern design, 18-inch thick handmade adobe walls, recycled wood trim and natural native stone. Each spacious room is different, but all have unique features such as museum quality Arts and Crafts furnishings, soaring beamed ceilings or hand-painted detailing. The hotel was built with wood and tile flooring throughout to accommodate canine visitors. The Segners are committed to creating a memorable experience for both you and your pet. They understand the bond between a dog and his human family and know from personal experience that dogs make great travel companions. Dog lovers can enjoy talking with their hosts about Sedona and all it has to offer, including a list of dog-friendly parks and outdoor restaurants, pet food and supply stores, and groomers.
“TripAdvisor is delighted to celebrate the success of businesses around the globe, from Sydney to Chicago, Sao Paulo to Rome, which are consistently offering TripAdvisor travelers a great customer experience,” said Alison Copus, Vice President of Marketing for TripAdvisor for Business. “The Certificate of Excellence award provides top performing establishments around the world the recognition they deserve, based on feedback from those who matter most – their customers.”
