Piab, a leading supplier of industrial vacuum technology, launches a new rough surface lip for the piGRIP® suction cup platform. piGRIP®, the first configurable suction cup on the market allows companies to choose the ideal combination of lip and bellow so products can be handled at previously unprecedented speeds while realizing energy savings.
The new rough surface lip (FLI-F) is ideal for handling heavy textured surfaces or objects with relief/embossing and generally very rough surfaces, such as raw wood, structured shower Plexiglas, tile, diamond plates and caps or covers for medicine containers.
It can handle up to a few millimeters in height differences with excellent sealing capability. This lip has been optimized to provide maximum grip and lifting performance on the previously mentioned surfaces.
The material of the rough surface lip is a long-wearing natural foam rubber that is free from Silicone.
