Oppo to release the first device ever with Scalado Automatic Self Portrait
Scalado, a world-leading provider of high-performance imaging technologies, applications and services for the mobile industry, has today announced that leading Chinese device manufacturer Oppo is to adopt several Scalado imaging Technologies in order to improve overall image handling and performance significantly on their devices. The first planned device, named U539, will have the Scalado Automatic Self Portrait Application which intelligently guides the user to capture self pictures.
"This is the start of several planned projects together,” says Fadi Abbas, Scalado's VP BizDev/CMO and Co-founder. ”I am excitedly waiting for the next device which will be released, in Q4 2011, with one of the most unique Scalado technologies. Stay tuned.”
Oppo will also benefit from the robust architecture provided by Scalado, the only imaging solution that is capable of bringing the digital still camera experience to a mobile device. As a result, mobile users can expect increased performance and data handling capabilities – even with high resolution files – that will dramatically improve the experience of capturing, viewing and editing images.
“We continue believing in Scalado’s cutting edge technologies and imaging competence,” says mr Wo, OPPO’s VP/COM. ”The Chinese camera phone market is drastically changing and the only way to continue delivering superior solution is cooperating with companies like Scalado.”
